Terms and Conditions

Attorney-review draft · Not approved for publication

Effective date — To be confirmed at launch

Last updated — October 17, 2026 (draft)

These Terms and Conditions govern access to the Wellness Beyond Borders website, inquiry and consultation features, and general information services. They clarify WBB's coordination role, the independent role of medical providers, and the responsibilities that apply before any separate WBB experience or provider service is purchased.

1 Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or using a WBB website or submitting an inquiry, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the website or inquiry features. Additional written terms may apply to a purchased WBB experience, payment, cancellation, travel arrangement, organizational program, or provider service. If additional terms conflict with these website Terms for the specific service they cover, the additional terms control.

2 Eligibility and Authority

You must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to use the website and submit an inquiry. If you act for another person or an organization, you represent that you have authority to provide the information, request the service, and accept applicable terms on their behalf. Services involving a minor require a parent, legal guardian, or other person with lawful authority.

3 What WBB Does

WBB provides information and privately coordinated access to independent medical, diagnostic, travel, hospitality, translation, and related service providers. WBB may help you understand the structure of an experience, gather your non-clinical priorities, arrange communications, coordinate schedules and logistics, and support the administrative journey.

WBB does not itself practice medicine, provide a diagnosis or treatment, prescribe a test or medication, guarantee appointment availability, or replace a relationship with your physician. Clinical recommendations, eligibility, informed consent, medical records, testing, interpretation, and treatment decisions remain the responsibility of appropriately qualified independent providers.

4 Not Medical Advice and Not Emergency Care

Website content, communications from non-clinical WBB personnel, and general descriptions of assessments or health topics are provided for informational and coordination purposes only. They are not medical advice and should not be relied on to diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or manage a condition.

WBB is not an emergency service. Do not use the website, an inquiry form, or WBB communications for urgent or emergency needs. Contact local emergency services or an appropriate local clinician immediately if you may be experiencing an emergency.

5 Independent Medical Providers

Hospitals, clinics, physicians, laboratories, imaging centers, and other medical professionals are independent from WBB. They exercise independent professional judgment and are solely responsible for their licenses, credentials, clinical services, medical decisions, informed-consent process, recordkeeping, and compliance with the laws that apply to them.

WBB's inclusion, introduction, coordination, or description of a provider does not constitute a warranty, endorsement of a particular clinical result, or representation that the provider is appropriate for every person. Accreditation, authorization, or certification information may change and should be confirmed for the relevant provider and service.

6 Diagnostics Screening and Results

No diagnostic assessment can identify every condition or eliminate uncertainty. Screening may produce false-positive, false-negative, incidental, indeterminate, or clinically insignificant findings. The appropriateness and limits of a test depend on individual circumstances and must be determined by the responsible provider.

You are responsible for discussing results, risks, alternatives, and follow-up with qualified medical professionals. WBB does not guarantee that a provider will recommend a particular assessment, reach a particular conclusion, or produce a particular health outcome.

7 International Travel and Care

International care and travel involve additional considerations, including differences in law, medical practice, privacy, language, culture, accreditation, remedies, accessibility, insurance coverage, and continuity of care. Travel can also involve delay, disruption, illness, political events, weather, entry restrictions, and other risks.

You remain responsible for evaluating whether travel is appropriate, obtaining medical clearance when needed, maintaining local medical relationships, arranging necessary follow-up, and considering travel and medical insurance. WBB does not guarantee that services or legal remedies in another country will be equivalent to those in your home jurisdiction.

8 Your Responsibilities

• Provide complete, accurate, current, and non-misleading information relevant to coordination and provider evaluation.

• Do not omit information when an independent provider explains that it is material to safety, eligibility, scheduling, or interpretation.

• Follow provider instructions and obtain professional advice about medical decisions, travel fitness, medications, and follow-up.

• Review the scope, price, exclusions, cancellation terms, credentials, consent materials, and privacy notice for each service before agreeing or paying.

• Maintain valid passports, visas, permits, insurance, funds, and other travel requirements for every traveler.

• Respect applicable laws, facility policies, intellectual-property rights, and the rights and safety of others.

• Protect your communications and promptly notify WBB if you suspect unauthorized access or an error in information you provided.

9 Information Medical Records and Authorizations

The general inquiry form is not intended for medical records, diagnoses, test results, or other detailed clinical information. If an independent provider needs records, WBB or the provider will explain the authorized method and applicable privacy terms.

When you direct or authorize WBB to transmit information to an independent provider or another organization, you represent that you have authority to do so. The recipient may process the information under its own privacy and medical-record obligations. You should not send information about another person unless you are legally permitted to provide it.

10 Consultations and Availability

Submitting an inquiry does not obligate WBB to accept an engagement, create a physician-patient relationship, reserve services, or confirm travel. An introductory conversation is intended to discuss the WBB experience and your interests; it is not a clinical consultation unless an independent licensed provider expressly establishes that relationship.

Dates, providers, assessments, accommodations, and other components remain subject to availability, suitability, provider approval, and separate confirmation. WBB may decline or discontinue coordination where the requested service is unavailable, outside scope, legally restricted, unsafe, or inconsistent with WBB or provider requirements.

11 Pricing Payments Cancellations and Refunds

Website descriptions and preliminary estimates are informational and may change. A purchase is governed by a separate written proposal, invoice, or service agreement describing the confirmed scope, price, payment schedule, cancellation terms, refunds, and exclusions. No reservation is final until the stated acceptance and payment requirements are satisfied.

Provider fees, additional testing, complications, extended stays, changes requested by the traveler, currency movement, government charges, and services outside the confirmed scope may create additional costs. WBB will not charge or promise terms that are not disclosed in the applicable agreement, but WBB cannot control charges independently imposed by a provider or third party outside WBB's confirmed scope.

12 Travel Documents Insurance and Personal Expenses

Unless a written agreement expressly states otherwise, you are responsible for passports, visas, entry and exit compliance, vaccinations, travel insurance, health insurance, medications, personal expenses, and costs resulting from delay, extension, denial of entry, or changed medical circumstances. WBB may provide logistical information but does not provide immigration, legal, tax, insurance, or financial advice.

13 Third Party Services and Content

The website may link to or describe independent providers and third-party services. WBB does not control their websites, availability, content, privacy, security, or performance. A link or introduction is provided for coordination or convenience and does not by itself create an endorsement or make WBB responsible for the third party's acts or omissions.

14 Website License and Intellectual Property

WBB grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the website for personal, lawful, non-commercial use. The website, brand, design, text, graphics, photographs, video, interfaces, compilations, and other content are owned by WBB or licensed from others and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, republish, scrape, frame, distribute, sell, train an artificial-intelligence or machine-learning system on, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit website content without prior written permission, except where applicable law expressly permits the use and does not allow restriction.

15 Prohibited Uses

• Use the website for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, or harmful activity.

• Impersonate another person, misstate authority, or submit information you are not permitted to provide.

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access, test vulnerabilities without authorization, introduce malicious code, interfere with the website, or bypass security or access controls.

• Collect personal information about others, send unsolicited promotions, or use website content to build a competing directory or service.

• Use automated means to access or extract content except as expressly authorized in writing or required by applicable law.

16 Communications

You consent to receive communications reasonably necessary to respond to an inquiry or administer a service using the contact information you provide. Marketing communications are subject to your choices and applicable law. You may opt out of marketing, but may continue to receive non-marketing communications concerning an active inquiry, transaction, safety issue, or legal notice.

Electronic communications may not be completely secure. Do not send detailed medical or financial information through ordinary email unless WBB or the intended recipient has confirmed an appropriate method.

17 Privacy

WBB's collection and use of personal information are described in the Privacy Policy. Independent providers and other third parties may have separate privacy notices. By submitting information, you represent that it is accurate and that you have the authority and any consent required to provide it.

18 Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website and general information services are provided as is and as available. WBB disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, uninterrupted availability, and freedom from harmful code, except to the extent a warranty cannot lawfully be excluded.

WBB does not warrant any medical outcome, test result, diagnosis, provider decision, appointment availability, travel result, regulatory status, or third-party performance. Nothing in these Terms excludes a right or warranty that applicable law does not allow WBB to exclude.

19 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WBB will not be liable under these website Terms for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, lost profits, lost data, loss of opportunity, or business interruption arising from website use or third-party services, even if advised that such loss was possible.

These website Terms do not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable law prohibits limitation. Any liability and remedy relating to a purchased WBB experience will be governed by the separate agreement for that service.

20 Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the website, material breach of these Terms, infringement of another person's rights, or submission of information you were not authorized to provide. This section does not require a consumer to indemnify WBB for WBB's own negligence, willful misconduct, or violation of law.

21 Force Majeure

WBB is not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disaster, epidemic, war, civil unrest, government action, transportation disruption, labor action, utility or network failure, cyber incident, provider unavailability, or border or entry restriction. WBB will use reasonable efforts to communicate material effects and, where practicable, support re-coordination. Payment, cancellation, and refund consequences remain governed by the applicable service agreement and law.

22 Suspension and Termination

WBB may restrict or terminate website access or decline an inquiry if you violate these Terms, misuse the website, create a safety or security risk, or request activity WBB reasonably believes is unlawful or outside scope. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, and miscellaneous terms, will survive.

23 Changes to These Terms

WBB may update these Terms to reflect changes in services, law, or business practices. The revised version will be posted with a new date. Material changes will receive additional notice where required by law. Changes do not retroactively alter a separately signed service agreement unless that agreement and applicable law permit the change.

24 Applicable Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws that validly apply to WBB and your use of the website, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protections in the place where the consumer lives. The parties should first attempt in good faith to resolve a dispute through written notice and direct discussion. If a dispute is not resolved, it may be brought in a court with lawful jurisdiction unless a separate written agreement provides another permitted process. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief or using a regulator or small-claims process where available.

25 Miscellaneous

These website Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement concerning general website use and inquiries, except for additional terms that expressly apply to a specific service. If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without WBB's written consent; WBB may assign them as part of a lawful restructuring, financing, merger, or transfer of the business. Section headings are for convenience and do not control interpretation.
