Our approach

WBB uses a limited-data approach. We do not use website tracking technologies to collect medical records, test results, or detailed clinical information. We do not use information about a visitor’s interest in particular health topics for targeted advertising.

At launch, WBB may use the following categories:

Strictly necessary technologies

These technologies support essential website functions, security, form delivery, fraud or spam prevention, and storage of privacy choices. They cannot be disabled through our cookie-preference tool because the website may not function properly without them.

Analytics technologies

With consent where required, analytics technologies may help us understand aggregate website activity, such as which pages are visited, how visitors reach the site, the general type of device used, and whether important website actions are completed. We use this information to improve website performance, content, and visitor experience.

Analytics technologies will not be permitted to capture the content entered into inquiry forms. Non-essential analytics will remain disabled unless and until the visitor makes the applicable consent choice.

Functional technologies

If enabled in the future, these technologies may remember non-essential preferences or support optional third-party features. They will be identified in the cookie-preference tool and used in accordance with the visitor’s choices.

Advertising technologies

WBB does not plan to use targeted-advertising or retargeting pixels at initial launch. If that practice changes, this policy and the website’s consent controls will be updated before those technologies are activated.

Where a cookie banner is displayed, visitors may accept all optional technologies, reject non-essential technologies, or manage preferences by category. The choices to accept and reject non-essential technologies will be presented with comparable prominence.

Visitors can revisit their choices at any time through the Cookie Preferences link in the website footer. Browser settings may also be used to delete or block cookies, although doing so may affect some website functions.

Where legally required, WBB will recognize supported browser-based opt-out preference signals and apply them to applicable sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising activity.

Those providers may use cookies or similar technologies in accordance with their own notices and their agreements with WBB.
